Established August 2002, SCI is a Retail Affiliate of the SM Group of Companies with head offices at the SM Corporate Offices, Bldg B. J.W. Diokno Boulevard, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. Sports Central has 12 branches: SM Megamall, SM Aura Premiere, SM City-Manila, SM City-Baguio, SM City-Batangas, SM City-Dasmariñas, SM City-Fairview, Waltermart San Fernando, SM City-Pampanga, SM Seaside City and the SM Mall of Asia and 2 outlet branches in SM City Sucat, SM Novaliches and SM Cherry Shaw.
Sports Central also owns and operates 11 Adidas concept stores: SM City-Fairview, SM Mall of Asia, SM SM City-Clark, SM City-Megamall, SM City-North Edsa Annex, SM City-Baguio, SM City-Cagayan de Oro, SM City-Cebu and SM City-Iloilo, SM City San Lazaro, SM Lipa and SM Davao. The Adidas Homecourt in SM Megamall was just recently opened boasting of almost 280 square meters of athletic fashion and performance wear. Other concept shops by Sports Central include Nike shop at SM City–North EDSA Annex, SM Bacolod and SM City-Clark and the New Balance Concept store at SM Aura Premiere Mall.
Furthermore, Sports Central operates the Nike and Adidas locations at all SM Departments Stores. Plus Asics and New Balance brands at selected locations.
